Does anyone else find this video incredibly CREEPY?? I practically want to change the channel when it comes on.
What are your thoughts? Anyone with kids think this is cute? I think the awkward "potty dance" is a little much. Haha maybe I'm just out of touch with that market.
I'm busy busy today! Hopefully I'll have time to post tonight.. stay tuned for PreppyGirl's Favorite Things Right Now!!

I do not like this video at all...
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard it helping either... I have a toddler and we will start potty training him in a couple months. Im not sure it will do any good letting him watch, but not positive...
I was totally blown away when I saw this. Not acceptable at all.
ReplyDeleteWow... normally these kinds of ridiculous videos make me laugh, but this was just wrong.
ReplyDeleteI fail to see how the video, in any way, helps kids learn how to use the Pullups diaper contraption. If anything it gives kids that watch it the most regrettable habit of grasping themselves in inappropriate places whenever they have the urge.
And the most perplexing part about it is that some company marketing executive thought this was a good enough idea to spend a substantial chunk of cash on. This had professional production value, hired singers, musicians, actors, and extras... followed up by extensive post-production work. And for what? It's not even a viable commercial by any stretch of the imagination.
This totally creeped me out when I saw this. I had to ask every parent I knew if they did this. I mean, are we to the point we're teaching kids to hold themselves in public when they need to potty? WTH?
ReplyDeleteIs this for real?? I thought it was SNL or something like that!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kate--I thought it was a farce!
ReplyDeleteIt's cute when the kids do the "Potty Dance" but it's creepy when I see a grown man/woman do it!
ReplyDeleteUn-buh-leeve-uh-bul. Completely & totally unbelievable Miss Preppy Girl! And very much in the "what were they thinking?!" category.

Bahaha! That was just hilarious! It's like the cha-cha slide for 2 year olds. "Put your left hand out, now put your right hand out!" Thanks for the giggle :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, soo creepy! I hope your having a great week, and that you have an even better weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteThat was so lame and about the worst example of a commercial trying to be "mulitcultural" Lame with a capital L! lol
